Primary Purpose
Rasasa Africa seeks a detail-oriented and efficient individual for managing inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. The role emphasizes timely order processing and excellent customer service, requiring organization, reliability, and strong communication/problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies.
- Participate in stocktaking and cycle counting.
Warehouse Organization
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
Order Fulfillment
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure timely picking, packing, and shipping.
Shipping & Receiving
- Verify incoming shipments for quantity and condition.
- Process documentation for incoming/outgoing shipments.
Data Entry & Record Keeping
- Accurately input data into inventory systems.
- Maintain updated records for inventory, shipments, and transactions.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline with strong academic performance.
- Experience: 1+ years in a warehouse environment.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong organizational and time management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Data entry and record-keeping.
- Communication and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently/in a team and in fast-paced settings.
