Primary Purpose

Rasasa Africa seeks a mission-driven supervisor to lead the adoption of electric cooking technologies in Tanzania. The role involves crafting and implementing strategies to increase market reach, build partnerships, and drive customer satisfaction while fostering a transition to clean and energy-efficient cooking solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Route-to-Market Strategy
- Develop efficient sales and distribution strategies for urban, peri-urban, and rural markets.
- Implement sales strategies to boost market penetration.
Team Management
- Recruit, train, and lead Field Sales Leaders and Agents to meet sales targets.
- Manage direct sales agents for door-to-door campaigns and product demonstrations.
- Motivate and support the team to achieve performance goals.
Community Engagement
- Organize awareness campaigns to educate households about the benefits of clean cooking technologies.
- Collaborate with community organizations and local government to drive product adoption.
Marketing Strategy
- Execute marketing strategies, including community events, radio campaigns, and product demonstrations.
- Work with the digital marketing team to create resonant messaging.
Sales Performance and Reporting
- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets.
- Monitor performance metrics, analyze sales data, and provide accurate forecasts and market intelligence.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of work experience, preferably in renewable energy or similar sectors.
- Proven ability to build and manage field teams.

Key Skills and Competencies

5+ years in sales and marketing leadership, preferably in FMCG, renewable energy, or clean cooking solutions.
Expertise in community engagement and demand generation strategies.
Exceptional skills in data analysis, sales tracking, and reporting.
Proficiency in English and Swahili, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for team motivation and inspiration.
Experience managing partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and local stakeholders.
Adaptability to dynamic, fast-paced environments.
